An Ordinary Me
Hi, I’m someone you might pass by on an ordinary street.
And my journey? It’s been pretty ordinary too—just like many others.
A quiet observer of life, people, and the silent pauses in between, I’ve always carried an inner voice that longed to express, to care, and to create. For years, that voice stayed tucked away—wrapped in routines, responsibilities, and quiet resilience. But one day, I chose to listen to it.
With no fancy background in tech or writing, I found myself—a 40+ woman—seated among energetic Gen Z students in a digital marketing course. I didn’t even know how to copy-paste. But what I lacked in skill, I made up for in intention and perseverance.
And that’s where I met… me—the thinker, the writer, the doer.
Today, I write for brands, startups, and stories that matter—not just to sell, but to touch hearts. I work in a digital marketing agency, but more than titles, it’s the journey I wear with quiet pride.
Struggles? Plenty. But each one carved a bit more courage into me. What started as a simple goal to support my family—even with a humble paycheck—turned into a path I never expected. Life placed a pen in my hand and gently nudged, “Go on… rewrite your story.”
Layers Of Me
I’ve lived in quiet villages, growing towns, district cities, and now the capital. Each place gifted me with unique co-travellers—different faces, beliefs, and stories that shaped my understanding of life. These experiences widened my lens and deepened my empathy.
I now find joy in the little things—caring for my plants, feeding strays, giving waste a second chance, and watching how colours bloom in both life and thought.
I believe in the power of the present—because the present is truly a gift.
I cherish the memories of a beautiful past; they bring joy, wisdom, and energy. But I try not to cling to them.
And while I bless the future with hope, I try not to chase it.
Instead, I choose to live here, now—mindfully and meaningfully.
A Note to Women (From One to Another)
I believe every day is Women’s Day.
To every woman out there—whether you feel like you’re failing or thriving—don’t let this precious life get lost in the loops of comparison, low self-esteem, or guilt.
Be a woman of substance.
Outward progress is fine, but inner vision is what truly elevates you.
You are not defined by your roles alone—but by how you rise, how you hold space for yourself and others, and how you carry your truth.
To me, a woman is like Durga—not just powerful, but multi-dimensional. A nurturer, a manager, a silent storm when needed. We don’t need to chase perfection. We just need to honour our essence.
As a Mother......
I don’t claim perfection. I make mistakes. I learn on the go.
But I feel at peace knowing that my children share their highs and lows with me freely.
At least they have a space to breathe, to speak, to be.
And I try—with all my heart—to be a non-judgemental listener. Because sometimes, love isn’t about correcting—it’s about accepting.
Still Unfolding...
If I had to sum myself up in one line, it would be this:
“Flow like a river—don’t get stuck. Cross every moment with courage.”
I’m still growing, still unlearning, still discovering how an ordinary life can hold extraordinary meaning—through presence, compassion, and quiet reflection.
Thank you for being here.
